Shankland alert
As the Gers attempt to lure Lawrence Shankland away, former Rangers player Lee McCulloch has issued a warning, saying that Hearts are unlikely to grant them any favors. “I think the situation is, Hearts are pretty cash rich there’s a lot of money in the boardroom, so they won’t sell him short,” he said on the PLZ Soccer Show.

Montgomery to don a microphone
Hibs manager Nick Montgomery will don a microphone for an NFL-style mic’d up feature during the forthcoming derby against Hearts, according to a statement from Sky Sports.
“We’re really pleased to have been able to work with both clubs and Sky Sports to showcase their latest broadcasting innovations, helping put supporters right at the heart of the action in the Edinburgh derby,” said Neil Doncaster, Group Chief Executive of the SPFL, in a statement released by Sky Sports.It looks like a great game, and we can’t wait to see how technology helps spectators feel even more involved in the action. Hearts have also stated that Steven Naismith will not be donning a microphone during the game, joining Montgomery in that regard.
