most recent Hibs and Hearts news Scottish Premiership opponents, leading the list with Lawrence Shankland
All Scottish Premiership clubs will be finishing up their gift lists as Christmas approaches in preparation for what might be a hectic January transfer window.
Lawrence Shankland of Hearts has been the subject of the greatest conjecture, with talk growing that he would move down the M8. However, the Tynecastle board has stated that they have no plans to sell the striker, who has already scored 13 goals in the domestic league this season.
According to The Herald, Dundee may try to bolster during the January transfer window. According to Dundee journalist Gary Cocker, Tony Docherty will look to bolster the Dens Park team in a number of areas, with the most obvious being the alternatives at left-back and left wing-back.
Dundee will need to reconsider their formation and approach because Owen Beck is the most anticipated departure; nonetheless, Cocker wonders whether “Liverpool were generous enough to grant us a similar gem from their academy.”
Another group of players that would be challenging to replace is Malachi Boateng, who is on loan, and Amadou Bakayoko. Motherwell could call up Ricki Lamie to strengthen the defense as they likely face relegation. In addition to these areas, Cocker has mentioned a new hitting option and a right-sided center half as what Docherty will probably want come January.
Scotland’s celebrity gaze First Division
Lewis Ferguson, a midfielder for Scotland, has acknowledged that he would love to play in the Premier League in England. However, despite leading his team to victory over Roma over the weekend, which propelled them to fourth place in Serie A and possibly automatic qualification for the Europa League for the first time since 1999, Ferguson has no desire to leave Bologna.
Ferguson stated: “It may seem surprising to people on the outside that we are doing so well and are so high up in the table, but not to us,” as quoted by the Daily Record. I’m content here at Bologna; Aaron Hickey was right when he advised me to sign with the team. I envision myself playing in the English Premier League at a very distant point in the future.
“You may play as a midfielder, an aggressive midfielder, or a winger in Italian football if you learn to take use of the openings available to you. Although I could have scored more goals, I never questioned my ability to do so in Italy. I scored goals at Aberdeen on a regular basis, so I know I can score more than ten this year.”
Rangers and Hearts trade disclosed
Lawrence Shankland and one Rangers star may be involved in a trade (Ibrox News). Alex Lowry, a 28-year-old goal scorer, would be the “obvious” Rangers player to be included in a swap deal, according to Chris Jack.
According to Jack, who was quoted on Rangers Review, there is uncertainty over the on-loan midfielder’s future under Philippe Clement, which puts him at the top of the list in the event that a partial swap offer is made. The midfielder is currently having a great season at Hearts.
“If Hearts are going to have a transfer fee and money burning a whole in their pocket they might not necessarily want whatever off-casts Rangers want to get rid of during January,” Jack remarked.
“The obvious one is Alex Lowry. It is unclear what, if any, future he will have at Ibrox under Clement.”
