Everton are reportedly looking to sign Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri during the January transfer window.

Everton have shown interest in Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri, though sources speaking anonymously say talks are not advanced, and no formal bid has been made. The club is also reportedly considering West Ham’s Callum Wilson, who has been in discussions to terminate his contract at the London Stadium.
According to The Athletic, Everton may reassess their striking options in January if their goal-scoring struggles continue. Beto has managed just two goals in 21 Premier League games this season, while summer signing Thierno Barry has three.
En-Nesyri, 28, has netted seven goals in 15 Super Lig appearances this season. He was previously on Nottingham Forest’s four-player shortlist for January reinforcements, but Olympiacos’ Mehdi Taremi has since become their leading target. The Moroccan joined Fenerbahce from Sevilla in 2024 and has scored 38 goals in 77 appearances across all competitions. He is currently representing Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations, having scored 25 goals in 90 international appearances since his senior debut in 2016.
Everton’s season has been inconsistent, and new signings may be key to turning things around. Barry, signed from Villarreal for an initial €32 million (£27.7m/$37.3m) plus bonuses, scored his first goal for Everton in December against Forest and has two goals in his last three Premier League appearances. Beto, who ended last season with eight Premier League goals (seven in the latter half), has struggled to find the net this term, with only one goal in January against Brentford.
Everton also lost striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin over the summer after his contract expired, increasing the need for reinforcements in attack.
