In 2023, quarterback Jared Goff enjoyed one of his best seasons to date and led the Detroit Lions to their highest finish in thirty-two years. However, Goff and the Lions would not have seen such success if their offensive line had not played so well.

Detroit had the third-best offense in the NFL at the end because to that group of blockers up front. The Lions’ offensive line is the second-best in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus. Goff awarded everyone of the offensive linemen on the team a $11,500 Breitling watch as a thank you for their hard work.

The quarterback teamed up with jeweler Jared in a play on his first name. This week in Las Vegas, following a season in which many Lions fans shouted and held up placards proclaiming “We went to Jared,” riffing off the company’s well-known tagline, the quarterback was contacted by Jared. According to WWD, Goff received ten Breitling watches as gifts in addition to one for himself. To his offensive linemen, eight of those were given. What about the two additional watches, then? Perhaps Dan Campbell, the head coach, and Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator, will also receive opulent presents.
