Face Needing To Up Offer Being Prepared To Secure Star

According to writer Darren Witcoop, Derby County’s offer to recruit midfielder Ebou Adams on a permanent contract may not meet Cardiff City’s asking price.

Adams joined Derby County on loan from Cardiff during the winter transfer window for the remainder of the season.

He played a major role in Derby’s promotion to the Championship, and the club wants to keep him on a permanent contract.

The Rams are already planning to make an offer for the midfielder in order to keep him at Pride Park.

Derby are reportedly preparing to make a £250,000 proposal to persuade Cardiff to trade the midfielder.

The offer, however, is expected to fall short of Cardiff’s expectations before the club agrees to part ways with Adams this summer.

Cardiff are eager to trade him, but they want twice as much as Derby are currently offering.

Negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue until a compromise is reached during the summer transfer season.
