Derby County confirm pre-season training camp and reveal friendly opponent

Derby County is returning to Spain for a pre-season training camp this summer, following a successful trip last year that preceded their promotion-winning season from League One. Led by Paul Warne, the team will head to Alicante on July 14th for a week of intensive training in warm weather conditions.

During their time in Spain, Derby will also play a friendly match against Stockport County at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia. Stockport County, having secured promotion to League One, will provide a competitive challenge for Derby. The match is scheduled for 11 am on Friday, July 19th, with ticketing details for supporters to be released soon.

The club has noted that the friendly match is subject to change, and any updates will be promptly communicated to fans. After the Spain trip, Derby will return to England to continue their pre-season preparations with domestic friendlies.
