James Harden’s critic and Mavericks TV analyst was not present for Dallas’ victory over the Clippers.

Dallas Mavericks analyst delivers mic-dropping criticism of James Harden: 'You're the problem'

James Harden’s critic and Mavericks

Following his noticeable absence from Wednesday’s broadcast, Dallas Mavericks studio commentator Brian Dameris—who is well-known for his contentious analysis on Bally Sports Southwest—found his name entangled in a web of NBA stories.

Because of Dameris’ harsh criticism of LA Clippers star James Harden early in the season, this turn of events garnered notice.

Dameris’ voice was noticeably absent from the broadcast during the Clippers’ tense game against the Mavericks, a crucial game in Dallas.

NBA fans couldn’t help but sit up and wonder about the absence, even if this occurrence could have been an unfortunate turn of events given the date and context.

After an intense tirade that Dameris directed at the athlete went viral, the world became aware of his disagreement with Harden.

This criticism wasn’t only lurking in the dark reaches of social media; Dameris shared it on X, and Bally Sports Southwest then shared it as well. But the TV network quickly removed the divisive message.

Bally Sports Southwest then went ahead and deleted any trace of Dameris’ remarks from its website, a move that did nothing to stem the storm. It was clear that the network disapproved of Dameris’ bold comments on an NBA phenomena.

Less than a week after his contentious outburst, the embittered but unwavering Dameris apologized in public on Bally Sports Southwest.

“Sports serve as a means of uniting people and uplifting each other,” he stated. “This world is driving people apart enough without my adding to it. I’m going to be better; I don’t want to be that person. I apologize.

Unfortunately, many saw this as an incompetent and improper move, and they were not entirely willing to overlook his error.

The Mavericks-Clippers game continued despite Dameris’s absence from the broadcast, with commentator Devin Harris and anchor Dana Larson handling Dameris’s previous responsibilities.

In the meanwhile, the Clippers defeated Dallas, winning 120-111 to seal the victory.

NBA fans are aware that Dameris’ previous predictions and the Clippers’ current success are at odds. They have won nine straight games, which has solidified their ranking as the fourth team in the Western Conference in the NBA.

In a long tirade on November 11, Dameris declared, “With this team, you’re going to go and point fingers at everybody else, and you’re going to go back home and you’re going to start swiping right for another team, and there’s going to be nobody left.” “Because you’re the problem, James, not the system or the beard.”
