Micah Parsons is fed up.

The standout pass rusher for the Dallas Cowboys, Devin White, responded to criticism from what he referred to as “fake analysts” following the team’s 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

In an interview with The Edge with Micah Parsons, Parsons stated, “Everyone just waits for the Cowboys to lose.” “I saw several fake analysts, people who somehow managed to land TV jobs, telling us, ‘There goes your boy, oh there he is, that’s the one we’ve been waiting for.'”

It’s getting close to the verge of being sick. In order to have something to talk about, former players are waiting for other current players to falter. You seem to know who you are at this point, so it’s not even merely to start talking names.

Parsons may have been singling out a number of former players and sports debate shows on television.

But perhaps the harshest critique of the Cowboys came from former All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski, who said on FOX just after the game that Dallas is “not a mentally tough football team.”

“The Dallas Cowboys are not a mentally tough football team when you’re a team and you can’t go on the road and win a big game in a hostile environment with weather that isn’t on, you know, on your side, isn’t in your favor,” Gronkowski reportedly said, as reported by Fox News.Having said that, the playoffs the previous year demonstrated it. It was seen in the previous year’s playoffs.

Parsons is obviously aware of the criticism and responding accordingly.

“What makes you so desperate for someone to lose?” Parsons regretted. “Some people seem to be waiting for others to make mistakes,”

Micah Parsons on the Journey of the Cowboys

If the Cowboys’ crushing defeat to the Bills taught us anything, it’s how susceptible Dallas is when it’s not in the welcoming environment of AT&T Stadium.

The Cowboys lost to the Eagles in Philadelphia, the 49ers in Santa Clara, and the Bills in Buffalo in crucial games against other teams that are in the running for the postseason. And then there was the puzzling Arizona loss against the Cardinals.

Despite their current NFC East lead, Dallas almost certainly needs to travel at some point during the postseason unless the 49ers drastically falter.

Parsons told reporters, “To be honest, it’s unacceptable right now,” according to NFL.com. There’s no justification for it. It’s perplexing, and I can’t figure out why we’re not clicking on the road or why we’re not playing well. We have some work to do because we’ll be returning to the road the following week.

The Cowboys lead the league with a +171 point differential at home in 2023, but they rank 14th in the NFL with a -4 point difference on the road. This information is provided by NFL.com.

Finding a means to improve their road performance will be essential to the Cowboys’ success if they are to be taken seriously as Super Bowl candidates.
Mike McCarthy on the outburst by James Cook

In Week 15, the Bills, led by running back James Cook, thoroughly destroyed the Cowboys.

Cook dominated Dallas, revealing a possible weakness in the Cowboys defense—that is, their incapacity to come back from behind when opponents are willing to commit to the rushing game in order to shorten games and prolong drives.

But Mike McCarthy, the head coach of the Cowboys, doesn’t think the Bills have a plan for beating his squad.

After the game, McCarthy told reporters, “They got on our edge a bunch.” “I spoke with Dan Quinn, the defensive coordinator, and he and the men were really impressed all week long. That was how they performed. They won the bend-back fight, they broke tackles, and they lost contain. Today, they performed it better.

Cook ran against the Cowboys for 179 yards and a score.

The Cowboys’ run defense will need to be much more restrained than it was in Buffalo starting on Christmas eve against Raheem Mostert, De’Von Achane, and the dynamic Miami Dolphins.
