Three teenagers charged with attempted murder after ‘boy stabbed in city park’

Following a 16-year-old boy’s stabbing in Coventry, three adolescents have been charged with attempted murder.It occurs after on Sunday, February 4, police were summoned to an incident in a park off of Kitchener Road.

Following the incident, two 17-year-old boys—who shall remain nameless for legal reasons—and Ismail Hussain, 19, of Kitchener Road have been charged with attempted murder. On March 5, they’ll appear in Warwick Crown Court.

“Three people have been charged with attempted murder after a teenage boy was stabbed in Coventry,” a West Midlands Police spokeswoman stated. Two 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man have been charged in relation to the February 4 incident that happened on Kitchener Road.

“On March 5, Ismail Hussain, 19, and the younger couple—who aren’t allowed to be identified for legal reasons—are scheduled to appear at Warwick Crown Court. Hussain and one of the teenagers were placed under remand. The other teen was released on bond.

“Four more people, all teenagers, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and assisting an offender, but have all been bailed pending further enquiries.”
