Speaking after the game, as per the Yorkshire Post, Thomas blasted Summerville for showing “no respect” after the final whistle. He accused Summerville of not shaking hands, having offered to do so.

“It was Summerville. I went to shake his hand and he palmed it off, so you thought there was no respect there. You have argy-bargy on the pitch, but you shake hands after. But he didn’t,” Thomas claimed.

Summerville is renowned for his aggression and often being the one that starts moments like this. He has recently spoken of teasing Lee Peltier at Rotherham – which prompted a response from Peltier.

Summerville was clearly frustrated at Leeds failing to win a second game in a row, as the Whites fail to get back to winning ways. Ahead of a crucial game vs Ipswich, the draw feels like two points dropped.
