NEWS: Sky Blues fans urged to arrive early for Friday night clash with Preston North End

Supporters of Coventry City are urged to get to the Preston North End game on Friday early.

When we play Preston North End on Friday, when a sizable crowd is anticipated, the Arena will once again use the new queueing lanes that were installed for our most recent home game against Millwall.

The purpose of the barrier system is to manage entry density and flow in the hectic time leading up to kickoff, making sure that lines are ordered and do not impede traffic surrounding the arena.

In order to facilitate the admission procedure, we continue to urge supporters to arrive at turnstiles at least 30 minutes before kickoff. Additionally, having your ticket or season ticket ready before approaching turnstiles ensures that you enter the stadium in time to witness the Sky Blues take the field.

Your ticket will indicate the recommended turnstile for access, but you are free to use any turnstile; however, home fans are not permitted in the South Stand, which is a trial area that is not connected to the other home areas and is intended only for Preston North End.

When at all feasible, fans are asked to leave their baggage at home since this greatly lengthens the search processes upon entering.

After the game on Friday, there won’t be a shutdown of A444 Jimmy Hill Way; instead, spectators should exercise caution and only utilize the approved crossing places.
