In the away end, Cashless Stadium and Advanced Search
The Stadium of Light only accepts card payments at the kiosks and is now cashless.
The stewards will ask Coventry City supporters to discard any coins or vapes at the turnstiles upon arrival.
To support Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Coventry, all coins gathered will be shipped to Coventry City.

Fanzone for Beacon of Light
Before the game, Coventry City supporters are welcome to visit the Beacon of Light Fanzone.

Grindon Club, a pub for coaches just outside the area
Supporter coaches are welcome to visit the Grindon Club, Gregory Road, Grindon, SR4 9RX, if they are looking for a nearby club where they can park and enjoy food and drinks before the game. The team will provide food for spectators and has space for eight traveling coaches. If you are interested, please contact Chris.Waters@safc.com.
Pubs Around the Ground & in the City Center
In Sunderland city centre, all restaurants and pubs welcome away fans. The Peacock, Greens, Street Bar, Victors, and Fire Station are the pubs in the city center that Sunderland suggested to us.
We recommend the Colliery Tavern and the Hilton Hotel as pubs closer to the stadium.
Parking in the City Center
The Stadium of Light is five minutes’ walk from the St. Mary’s parking lot in the city center. It is SR1 3AH postcode.
Green Car Park’s disabled bay parking
For any supporters who require an accessible parking space outside the stadium, Sunderland has six spaces set aside in our green parking lot. To make a reservation, please email ticket.office@safc.com.
Lift Access to the Black Cats Bar Entrance.
There are numerous stairs leading from the stadium’s far end to the entrance. Fans with accessibility requirements or those who are elderly are asked to enter the stadium through the Black Cat Bar entrance, where they can take the elevator to level 3.
