Alfie May has been nominated for the 2023/24 PFA League One Fans’ Player of the Year award.

In his impressive first season with the Addicks, the forward scored 23 league goals, earning him the division’s Golden Boot award. His performance also secured him a spot in the EFL League One Team of the Season.

May, who was named League One Player of the Month for October after scoring seven goals in six matches, has now surpassed 20 goals for three consecutive seasons in the third tier.

The 30-year-old is up against Colby Bishop (Portsmouth), Harrison Burrows (Peterborough United), Devante Cole (Barnsley), Chris Martin (Bristol Rovers), Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Derby County), Marlon Pack (Portsmouth), and Josh Sheehan (Bolton Wanderers) for the award.
