‘So weak’… Mark Wilson says there’s a ‘lazy’ player at Celtic who shouldn’t be near the first-team

When Celtic lost to Kilmarnock on Saturday, it seemed like a can of worms had opened.

When the final whistle blew at Parkhead, the Celtic supporters made their feelings abundantly evident, and ever since, the team has been the target of a plethora of criticism.

However, as the recruitment aspect of the club’s operations receives the majority of attention, Ange Postecoglou’s signing is the target of this most recent, critical evaluation.

In recent weeks, Alexandro Bernabei has made news for his mediocre efforts while filling in for Greg Taylor, who was injured.

But Mark Wilson didn’t see the Argentine fullback doing much to strengthen his case for starting against Kilmarnock after he entered the game as a second-half replacement.

In fact, Wilson feels that Bernabei ought to be far away from the Celtic starting lineup following his involvement in the Killie equalizer.

Wilson responded, “No, he shouldn’t be,” to Superscoreboard. Furthermore, I detest criticizing players because I know how easy it can be to play for Celtic and have a lot of possession of the ball.

“That’s a recruitment gaffe on Brendan Rodgers’ part—he didn’t bring anyone in.” However, you have to be more determined than Bernabei is when you receive the jersey and put it on.

Thus, I anticipated that he would act. Simply put, I had no idea which side of the pitch it would be.

“I was aware that something was going to happen when he started acting out. If you look at the goal, the defense is, like, really weak.

And you know what I believe that to be? That is a clumsy defense. That’s “I refuse to contend for this ball.” I’m going to hope that the referee gives me a little push because I feel like I’m under a little strain.

“That’s a shoddy defense,”

In fact, Bernanbei has faced harsh criticism from Celtic on previous occasions. The 23-year-old’s failure to show up for his first-ever squad meeting at the start of the season did not make the Celtic manager particularly fond of him.

I would be shocked if we ever saw him wearing a Celtic jersey again following his most recent error against Kilmarnock.

Additionally, “Toxic”Dermot Desmond might have to make a “unpopular” move at Celtic, according to Mark Guidi.
