Brendan Rodgers participated in the annual Christmas lights switch-on event, bringing a bit of festive joy to the community of Lennoxtown.
Along with a number of students from Lennoxtown Primary School, Rodgers was instrumental in the ceremony as he switched on the lights following the countdown.
His previous experience at the event dates back to 2016, when he helped with the lights switch-on.
Celtic plays a lot of games throughout the holiday season, starting at the weekend and continuing through the middle of the month until the January break.
For Rodgers’ team, this might be a pivotal moment when everyone needs to come up and contribute.
The players and coaches won’t have time to partake in all of the Christmas festivities, particularly because they have to spend Christmas Eve at Lennoxtown and New Year’s Day in a hotel before playing Dundee on Boxing Day.
