Thinks team can sign Celtic midfielder in January for €8–10 million; he has a “very interesting profile.”

David Turnbull, a midfield player for Celtic, is a target for AC Milan, who see him as having a “very interesting profile.”

That’s the word from talent scout and intermediary Michele Fratini, who claims the Serie A powerhouses are evaluating the 24-year-old.

According to the newspaper, Turnbull is one of the midfielders Milan is considering adding to their roster because of his “movements, which are reminiscent of former Inter player Ivan Perišić.”

In addition to being “good at blocking and initiating action,” they think the Celtics player is adept at handling the ball and dribbling with it.

These qualities, together with his comfort level when using both feet and his ability to shoot from distance, make him a player that may be worth pursuing.

Given that he and Celtic have “broken verbally” and that his contract expires in 2024, a January sale would make sense, a deal may also be possible.

In the winter window, it is thought that he can be acquired for €8–10 million; if not, Milan will have to hope to be selected from “a very vast list of suitors.”

A number of Italian clubs are keeping an eye on the Celtic player, who has scored seven goals in 11 league games this year and has the potential to be another Lewis Ferguson, who has been making waves for Bologna and garnering attention for himself.
