Surprising: Celtic Star Missing from Starting XI

Upon arriving at Celtic Park this afternoon, Celtic supporters were taken aback to see that Cameron Carter-Vickers was left out of the Hoops Scottish Cup quarterfinal roster.

The boys will play in the semi-final at Hampden if they defeat Livingston and hope to defend their crown.

The greatest defender for Celtics, CCV, was not expected to miss this game following Brendan Rodgers’ press conference on Friday and the images from Lennoxtown.

But the team sheet is up, and there’s no sign of the American international.

Hopefully, Brendan’s explanation for our vice captain’s absence won’t be long-lasting. We are currently awaiting it.

Celtic are already without Callum McGregor and CCV not being in the mix makes many supporters nervous.

Kuhn comes back into the starting XI due to suspensions and injuries. Yang out after being sent off last week at Tynecastle and Palma picking up an injury during the week.
