A popular football pub in Wishaw has been put up for sale as its owner gets set to retire.
The Cross Keys is a regular haunt with Celtic supporters in the town, with the Wishaw Emerald CSC bus leaving from there for matches, and returning after for post-match drinks.
Positioned on Stewarton Street just 50 metres from Wishaw Cross, its front door leads to the main bar area with seating for 70+, which is a combination of chairs, tables, benches and barstools.

Steps lead to a second bar area which is also utilised as a separate bookable function suite with a capacity for 75. To the rear there is a large function area with a capacity of over 100.
Both of these areas are used by customers on match days as the pub can get extremely busy. Weekends are busy with functions across both areas as well as live music in the main bar.
The fitted kitchen to the rear is currently unused however it could be utilised to offer food to customers, which would help to add to the already great offering in the pub.
There is also a stone-chipped beer garden to the rear of the premises with benches. However, having been granted an occasional license during the pandemic the owners are awaiting confirmation of a full permanent license for the beer garden.
