In an interview, Matt O’Riley talked about his Celtic mentality and how a life coach totally altered his perspective.

During the international break, the midfielder, who is having the best season of his career so far, was rewarded with his first full international cap for Denmark.

In what was a historic moment for him and his family, O’Riley started the game against Northern Ireland on Monday while sporting Christian Erikson’s No. 10 shirt.

O’Riley gave this explanation about his new outlook: “I feel stronger. both physically and psychologically, which is advancement.

“I am moving in the right direction as long as I am getting better, and I think I have this season.”

“My head is clearer now.”

“I have regular conversations with my friend/life coach who resides in India; I’m not sure how to characterize him.

I talk about topics with him frequently that I may have held inside of me for a long time.

“I may not have had the guts to talk about it, but at least I would not have known how to talk about it.”

“I would say that has really benefitted me and made me a more well-rounded person overall.

As a result, I feel more comfortable approaching people and more confident.

“All of that collectively has helped me to be in a good frame of mind.”
