Rangers is now one point behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, but the Ibrox team still has a game in hand.

But Kennedy believes Celtic have composed players and staff, even with the big match the next weekend and the season coming to a close.

“I’m not just saying this, inside our training ground is probably the calmest place in Scotland,” he said to BBC Scotland.

“We are aware that it all comes down to the sessions we hold and the planning we conduct. In actuality, all we can do is take each day as it comes and make sure we’re ready.

“We are confident that when we arrive at the game in high spirits and prepared, like we have been doing for the past few moments, we will attack the game as usual.

“The problem is that it’s exhausting if you become engrossed in things too early in the week and let the feelings take over.

“For us, it’s about keeping calm, controlling what we can control which is the training and then when next weekend comes, we’ll deal with that.”

Kennedy stated, “It was very good,” in reference to the victory over Livingston.

“Coming here can be challenging, as everyone is aware, particularly on a day like today when the sun is out and drying the pitch.

However, the boys were excellent and well-trained. Livingston was not given much territory or opportunity to enter our box, which is crucial in this situation.

And we persisted in our offensive play. First half, we had opportunities to score. We had some excellent opportunities, but perhaps the last ball wasn’t there or something got blocked.

“However, we demonstrated that composure, which is crucial during this season.”
