Health care Today in London: Celtic approve a new signing following a breakthrough – Exclusive

Adam Idah, a striker for Celtic, has agreed to a contract with Norwich City, and on Wednesday, he will have a medical in London, according to sources who spoke to Football Insider.

The 22-year-old is rumored to have begun medical testing in advance of his loan transfer to Parkhead.

The Republic of Ireland international will play for the Hoops for the rest of the season after the two teams came to a complete agreement.

Football Insider was informed by reliable sources that Idah is eager to move to the Scottish league leaders this month.

Football Insider reported on January 31 that additional talks on the forward were held over night, but that a deal has finally been reached.

Idah has contributed one assist and seven goals in 34 appearances across all competitions during the first half of the season for David Wagner’s team.

This will be the academy graduate’s first time playing for a different team since leaving Carrow Road.

After reportedly spending £3 million to acquire Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna earlier this month, the Hoops were eager to bolster their offensive line.

Since making his debut for the senior Ireland team in 2022, Idah has played a regular role and scored twice in 20 games.

Football Insider reported last week (January 22) that Celtic is prepared to accept an offer for goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist despite interest from around Europe, suggesting that they may make some last-minute departures before the window closes.
