After Celtics’ loss, Scott Brown immediately gives the Rangers title view live on Sky Sports.

Even though Rangers came within five points of Celtic this past weekend, Scott Brown thinks Celtic still has the upper hand in the Scottish Premiership title battle.

At Rugby Park on Sunday, Matty Kennedy’s late goal gave Kilmarnock a surprising victory over Brendan Rodgers’ team.

Rangers have the opportunity to get closer to the current leaders after defeating Dundee 3-1 on Saturday and having a game remaining.

Rangers

Despite the distance, Brown, a former Celtic, says he believes Rodgers and his team will eventually find their best.

“Good teams bounce back, there’s always going to be a little [blip],” Brown said on Sunday, December 10, at 2:30 p.m. on Sky Sports Football. “I’m sure Brenden will have them psyched up for Hearts because he has that.

“He’ll make sure they escape the traps, score goals, and demonstrate that they are a top-tier squad. It’ll be a big game for him.

“Celtic are still in a good position, but there are five points in it, and I know Rangers have a game coming up.”

Rangers

The Rangers now possess it.

They will top the table if they win this game in hand and the Old Firm derby at the end of December, assuming they don’t lose any more points.

It’s true that Rangers aren’t performing very well at the moment.

They are still winning the Scottish Premiership, though, and they are producing results, like the one when they were down to 10 men against Dundee.

Even if Celtic is losing to teams like Motherwell and Killie, they still have more difficult matches against Hearts and Rangers ahead of them.

It was good to see Brown so furious with Kris Boyd smirking next to him following the Sunday loss.

Please, Sky, give us some more of that!
