Celtic vs Rangers: Ticket Allocations for Away Fans to Return Next Season.

Watch Rangers vs. Celtic on April 7 live on Sky Sports. Both clubs will provide an allocation of approximately five percent for away fans for all Scottish Premiership meetings starting next season. This season’s final two league games will not be played with any visiting supporters.

Next season, there will be away fans for Old Firm matches once more. The Scottish Premiership’s Celtic and Rangers have decided to allow away fans to attend Old Firm games starting in the upcoming season.

The teams’ first two Premier League games this season and their final two league meetings from previous season were both played without the presence of any out-of-town supporters.

The rationale for the lockout, which will last for the remainder of the season, included concerns about the safety of the supporters.

The league’s governing body has acknowledged that a five percent away allocation will be implemented starting in 2024–2025 as a result of discussions between the clubs, provided that all prerequisites are met at both Ibrox and Celtic Park.

This implies that approximately 2,500 Celtic supporters will be at Ibrox and 3,000 Rangers supporters will be able to attend games at Parkhead.

SPFL Statement
After discussions with both teams, the SPFL is happy to announce that Rangers FC and Celtic FC will allocate roughly 5% of their ticket sales for away fans during their SPFL games.
