Chief executive Alan Burrows of Aberdeen acknowledges that he cannot guarantee Bojan Miovski will stay at Pittodrie past January.

Speaking at the club’s annual general meeting, he emphasized that despite Celtic’s interest, the Dons are not in a hurry to sell the North Macedonian. Kyogo, Daizen Maeda, and Oh are expected to depart the Hoops for the Asian Cup the following season, and Brendan Rodgers has publicly acknowledged that he plans to bolster his front line when the winter transfer market begins next month.

The Scottish Premiership winners reportedly spoke at the club’s annual general meeting and were scouting Miovski in anticipation of a January transfer. Regarding the possibility of selling the 24-year-old next month, Burrows was questioned. “We are not in a rush to sell Bojan Miovski,” he replied.Aberdeen has a player trading concept that forces you to sell when it’s convenient for you. That must, however, be at the amount you feel is appropriate for the club.

“Bojan has proven both this season and last that he is an extremely talented striker, and I have no doubt that he will have a wonderful career at the highest level. I’m not sure what other clubs are going to do, so I can’t offer any guarantees.

“As we approach the January transfer window, we have no intention of actively selling Bojan. We anticipate that Bojan will stay longer than that. He is skilled enough to compete in the top five leagues in Europe, and I believe that when we do sell him, his worth will be evident because of the caliber of play he attains.”
