After managing Celtic, a BRAKING manager disparages the Scottish league, claiming that the team has “9 out of 10 chances” of winning the championship each year.

In the span of just one week, former Celtic manager Ronny Deila has made a second, mild jab at his old team by disparaging the Scottish Premiership.

The manager of Club Brugge, who seems determined to voice his opinions about his former team, made comments that Sudinfo covered. After a successful stint at Standard Liege, where he had significantly improved his reputation following his failed experience at Celtic, Deila joined Brugge in the summer.

From 2013 to 2016, he oversaw 116 games while managing the Bhoys, who won the Scottish Cup in 2014–15 and the Scottish Premiership in 2015–16.
But neither side has any pleasant memories of his tenure at the club, which is generally seen as a total failure.

In fact, Deila has talked about his time at Celtic on a frequent basis since his left, and not always in the best of ways.

He carried on with it last week when he made a rather sneaky jab at Celtic, and he did so again today when he criticized the league they play in.

When asked what had impressed him the most since coming to Brugge, he responded, “I’m impressed by the win-at-all-costs mentality.”

“People say it all the time, but when we win, there’s never any gratification. This is an aspirational and dreaming group.

“You want to get on to the next match as soon as possible after a win. You never truly feel completely satisfied, in actuality.

“At Celtic, everything were distinct. You have nine times out of ten opportunities to win the league when you first start it there. The difficulty is far higher here.
