Former top referee Bobby Madden has reduced the number of contenders for Sunday’s Old Firm match at Ibrox to just four.

Madden’s Instagram poll asks followers to pick who will lead the match between Rangers and Celtic, which could determine the Scottish Premiership title battle.

He ruled out Don Robertson and Nick Walsh, who have each managed the two derbies this season. That leaves only John Beaton, Kevin Clancy, Willie Collum, or Steven McLean. The Scottish Football Association will divulge the decision today when they release their next round of referee selections. Madden went on to say “Internet will break no matter who is announced at around 10.30am.” At the time of publication, John Beaton led with 43% of the vote, followed by Willie Collum (22%), Kevin Clancy (21%), and Steven McLean (14%).
