“He could”: Andy Walker is certain that Motherwell has a player qualified for Celtic.

Celtic’s championship challenge took a dramatic turn for the better yesterday at Ibrox, where Motherwell overcame Rangers 2-1.

This lunchtime, Brendan Rodgers will lead his squad to Tynecastle with the knowledge that victory will return Celtic to the top of the Scottish Premiership.

The pressure is really building with ten games remaining, and after Rangers opened the door yesterday, all Celtic has to do is push it open and go straight in.

This season, Motherwell has undoubtedly caused issues for both Celtic and the Ibrox club. Andy Walker has singled out one player who he thinks may step in and fill in for Brendan Rodgers.

Talk about Lennon Miller and Celtics returns

Young Lennon Miller’s performance against us in the 3-1 Fir Park win had Celtic discussing him as a potential player.

Charlie Mulgrew wowed the former Hoops defender with his midfield display, so much so that he encouraged Celtic to buy him last week.

And now Andy Walker, a former Celtic striker, has shared that sentiment.

Walker told The Go Radio Football Show, “Well, Tom Boyd and Gary McAllister were there when I played at the club [Motherwell].” We simply assumed it was at a reputable school.

“You know, he has the potential to play for Celtic, and you were picking up good habits from some really good, seasoned players.”

“I am aware that, contrary to widespread reports, Brendan Rodgers spoke with him last week. However, if he plays 50–100 more games at Motherwell, he could be able to play for one of the major teams in the South.

Miller is demonstrating his talent at the young age of 17. The youthful midfielder for Motherwell produced an outstanding performance in the victory over Rangers yesterday, building on his performance against Celtic. [Fotmob]

With two interceptions, seven ball recoveries, 100% of tackles won, 80% of duels won, and more, Lennon is already beginning to display the battling traits that are getting clubs to take attention.

Is he going to play for Celtic soon? I see no reason why not. particularly if he keeps growing in the same direction.
