Adam Idah was confirmed as Celtic’s second January acquisition just before the transfer deadline on Thursday. The English Championship team Norwich City loaned their Irish striker to us.
Idah will return to East Anglia at the conclusion of the season; there is no buyout option in the agreement. That won’t take away from the fact that the 22-year-old will be giving Celtic his whole attention, though, as he is ready to win titles and score goals in Glasgow over the next months.

In response to a question concerning when he learned of the club’s interest, Idah stated: “It was a very stressful couple of days. I believe I first heard about it on Monday morning.”
Considering that he wasn’t made public until late on Thursday night, it took some time to resolve. Even if Idah wasn’t the champs’ top strike target this month, he will undoubtedly have the support of the supporters, just like any other new addition would.
