With Celtic looking to add extra quality to their ranks after their Champions League exit last month, a report claims that Brendan Rodgers is looking to make a record bid for Aberdeen striker, Bojan Miovski.

However, Aberdeen would not be happy to sell Miovski in January as Barry Robson looks to claim third spot in the league this season.

Miovski has been on fire for the Pittodrie club since signing for them last season but Celtic do face competition from England if they do take their interest forward.

What Barry Ferguson has said about the Celtic target and Rangers

TBR Celtic have told on a number of occasions how Miovski has been a player that Tam McManus and Peter Grant have both said that Celtic should target.

But interestingly, Barry Ferguson has also said that he would like to see Miovski at Rangers after saying The Dons striker is good enough to play for the Ibrox club.

Ferguson said, “He’s shown that he could be good enough. Eleven goals from an Aberdeen team that have struggled this season.

“Let’s be honest, he’s definitely an out-and-out goalscorer. And he’s decent at linkup play as well.
