EXCLUSIVE: Brisbane Lions have officially landed a star player via swap deal from…

The Brisbane Lions have received a future second round selection, in return for a future third round pick and Pick No. 48,

after entering a pick swap agreement with Collingwood earlier this morning, with a deal confirmed for  a collingwood player.

The player is expected to earn a mind blowing salary of $3.5million.

The Lions now head into next week’s NAB AFL Draft with Pick No. 21, Pick No. 29, Pick No. 34 and Pick No. 71.
General Manager of Football David Noble said this was a strategic move for the Club.

“We are only allowed to have four selection for our four available positions at this year’s draft,” he said.

“This swap allows us to maximise our hand at this year’s and 2020’s draft.”
