The NRL is back to a full contingent of eight games this weekend after extended byes during Origin I.
The Sharks returned home after a big win in Brisbane to host the Dolphins in a top four battle. However, after reeling in a 22-point deficit, the hosts eventually fell to a 30-28 loss.
Friday night football saw the Raiders fall at home to the Cowboys, before the Rabbitohs extended their unlikely win streak to three matches against the Broncos.
Saturday started with a battle of the strugglers in the Titans and Tigers with Benji Marshall’s side snapping a nine-game losing streak.
The Warriors went down to the ladder leading Storm, while the out of sorts Eels lost to the Roosters in a brutal clash.
The weekend concludes with the Sea Eagles hosting the Dragons, before the Knights will look to pull off an upset over the reigning premiers Penrith in Sunday afternoon football.
