Dublin, Ireland – April 24, 2026 — Irish pop royalty Westlife has officially announced their highly anticipated 2026 World Tour, thrilling fans around the globe with the added surprise of a brand-new album, set to drop later this year. This marks a major comeback for the beloved quartet, consisting of Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily, who have continued to captivate audiences since their formation in 1998.
The announcement was made during a live-streamed press conference from Dublin’s iconic 3Arena, where the band also premiered a teaser for their upcoming single, “Where We Belong,” the lead track from their as-yet-untitled new album. The track has already sparked a social media frenzy, with longtime fans praising its return to the group’s signature ballad style mixed with modern pop sensibilities.
The 2026 World Tour—dubbed “Forever Westlife”—will kick off in May 2026 in London’s O2 Arena, before traveling across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. Stops include major cities such as Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Manila, New York, Los Angeles, and for the first time in their career, Rio de Janeiro. The tour is expected to run for over eight months, concluding in Dublin with two massive homecoming shows in December.
“This tour means more to us than ever,” said Shane Filan. “We’ve poured our hearts into the new album, and we can’t wait to sing these songs live with the people who’ve supported us for more than two decades.”
Mark Feehily, who had previously taken a step back from touring due to health issues, confirmed he’s ready and feeling better than ever. “I’ve missed the stage, and I’ve missed the fans. I’m beyond excited to be back with the lads and bring this new era of Westlife to life.”
The band’s management confirmed that exclusive pre-sale tickets will be available to fan club members starting May 1st, with general sales opening on May 3rd. VIP packages will include meet-and-greets, signed merchandise, and backstage experiences.
Fans are already speculating about the themes of the new album, which reportedly explores love, resilience, and growth—a reflection of the band’s journey and personal experiences over the years.
After more than 25 years in the music industry, Westlife proves once again that their legacy is far from over—and 2025 might just be their most powerful year yet.
