Simple Minds, the iconic Scottish rock band, have announced the postponement of select dates on their highly anticipated ‘Alive & Kicking’ Tour in both North America and the UK. The decision comes as part of the band’s commitment to delivering the best possible live experience to their fans.
North American Tour Adjustments
Originally slated to begin on May 16, 2025, in Ridgefield, Washington, the North American leg of the ‘Alive & Kicking’ Tour will now commence on May 29, 2025, in Santiago, Chile, at the Movistar Arena. Subsequent performances in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, have also been rescheduled. The tour will proceed to North America, with special guests Soft Cell and Modern English, starting on May 16, 2025, in Ridgefield, Washington, and concluding on June 22, 2025, in Noblesville, Indiana.
UK and Ireland Concert Postponements
In the UK and Ireland, several summer shows have been rescheduled. The concert at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park, initially planned for June 27, 2025, will now take place on July 1, 2025. Other affected dates include performances in Lincoln, Southampton, Dublin, Bedford, Lytham St Annes, Halifax, and Derby.
