Netflix Announces Release Date for Highly-Anticipated Halsey Documentary
April 9, 2025 — Netflix has officially announced the release date for a brand-new documentary centered around award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Halsey. Titled “Halsey: The Voice Within,” the documentary will premiere globally on May 24, 2025, offering fans an unfiltered look into the life, struggles, and triumphs of one of the most dynamic pop artists of the decade.
The streaming giant revealed that the film will dive deep into Halsey’s personal and artistic journey, highlighting her rise from a New Jersey teen with a dream to an international icon known for her fierce authenticity, raw lyrics, and fearless creativity. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lana Wilson, known for her work on Miss Americana (the Taylor Swift documentary), The Voice Within promises to be an intimate portrayal of Halsey’s world — both on and off stage.
Netflix teased the documentary with a gripping two-minute trailer that showcases behind-the-scenes footage from world tours, recording sessions, hospital visits, and emotional moments from Halsey’s personal life.
