Nancy Wilson Announces New Heart Album After Tour: “We’re Not Done Yet”
Rock legend Nancy Wilson has confirmed that Heart will be releasing a brand-new album following their highly anticipated 2025 tour. In a statement that has thrilled fans worldwide, Wilson declared, “We’re not done yet,” signaling a powerful new chapter for the iconic band.
The announcement came shortly after the band kicked off their global “Royal Flush Tour,” which has seen sold-out shows and a renewed surge of excitement among longtime Heart fans. The upcoming album will be the band’s first studio release since 2016’s Beautiful Broken, marking nearly a decade since their last original collection.
“This tour has lit a fire under us,” Wilson shared. “The energy on stage, the connection with fans—it all reminded us why we started this journey. We’ve got new stories to tell, new sounds to explore.”
Heart, co-founded by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, rose to prominence in the 1970s with hits like “Barracuda,” “Magic Man,” and “Crazy on You.” Known for blending hard rock with folk and pop elements, they’ve inspired generations of musicians and fans alike. Despite a few hiatuses and solo ventures, the bond between the Wilson sisters remains the soul of the band.
The upcoming album is still untitled, but Nancy hinted it will be “a mix of classic Heart energy with a modern edge.” Recording sessions are expected to begin later this year after the tour wraps up. Collaborations with both veteran musicians and fresh talent are also rumored to be in the works.
With the tour reigniting their passion and creativity, Heart’s return to the studio promises to deliver something special. As Nancy puts it, “We’re still writing our story, and this next chapter is goin
g to rock.”
