Misfits to Headline Horror Punk Festival: “Gravefest 2025” Set to Unite Legends and New Blood
Horror punk fans, rejoice—2025 is about to get a whole lot darker. The Misfits have been confirmed as the headlining act for the inaugural Gravefest, a massive horror punk festival slated to take place this October in Salem, Massachusetts. The event will bring together legendary acts and rising stars in a celebration of the genre’s ghastly glory.
This marks the first time the Misfits will perform a full-length set featuring both Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only in over a decade, thrilling fans who never thought they’d see the original lineup share the stage again. Alongside the Misfits, other iconic horror punk bands such as Samhain, Calabrese, and Balzac will join the lineup, along with new blood like Creeper and Silent Horror.
Organizers promise a full weekend of horror-themed attractions, including midnight horror movie marathons, costume contests, vintage horror merch, and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions.
“This isn’t just a concert—it’s a resurrection,” said a statement from the band. “We’re summoning the spirit of horror punk and bringing it back to life in its purest, loudest form.”
Tickets for Gravefest 2025 go on sale May 13, and fans are advised to act fast. If there’s ever been a time to dig up your studded leather and skull makeup, it’s now.
