Helloween Officially Announces New Album and Massive World Tour for 2025–2026
German power metal pioneers Helloween have officially announced their upcoming studio album and an extensive world tour to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The band is currently working on the follow-up to their acclaimed 2021 self-titled album, which marked the reunion of key members and achieved chart-topping success in several countries.
Bassist and founding member Markus Grosskopf shared, “We’ve thought of some great surprises for the fans and will be playing tracks from the band’s history that haven’t been heard live for a very long time, or even ever, alongside the brand new songs that will be hitting the boards live for the first time.”
The “40 Years Anniversary Tour” is set to commence on October 17, 2025, in Luxembourg, covering 18 cities across Europe over six weeks. The tour will feature Finnish metal band Beast In Black as special guests. Highlights include performances at London’s Eventim Apollo, Paris’s Zénith, and Madrid’s La Cubierta de Leganés.
In 2026, Helloween plans to extend the tour to Asia, South America, and North America, culminating in appearances at major European festivals during the summer.
Frontman Andi Deris expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming tour, stating, “The creative work in the studio is incredible fun and the album promises to be an absolute highlight – but nothing in the world compares to a Helloween concert: The energy of our audience is simply indescribable and we can’t wait to finally go full throttle with the fans again. The upcoming tour will be bigger, better and more impressive than ever!”
Fans can also look forward to the release of “Live at Budokan,” a live album capturing Helloween’s 2023 performance at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan, scheduled for release on December 13, 2024.
