Exodus Announces Release Dates for Two Albums and Celebrates Official Reunion with Rob Dukes
Thrash metal titans Exodus have officially confirmed the release dates for their highly anticipated double album project, while also marking the triumphant return of former vocalist Rob Dukes to the lineup. In a press release that instantly sent shockwaves through the metal world, the band revealed that both albums are set to drop in late 2025—Vol. I: Lethal Injection arriving on September 13, followed by Vol. II: The Atrocity Agenda on November 15.
Rob Dukes, who fronted Exodus from 2005 to 2014, has been welcomed back with open arms. Fans and band members alike are thrilled, with guitarist Gary Holt stating, “Rob’s voice, intensity, and stage presence are exactly what these albums needed. It feels like unfinished business being completed.”
The two albums will showcase a blend of the band’s signature thrash roots and a darker, more complex sound. Vol. I: Lethal Injection is said to channel the raw aggression of Bonded by Blood, while Vol. II: The Atrocity Agenda will explore deeper lyrical themes and experimental riffs, all while retaining the band’s uncompromising heaviness.
Dukes has already recorded vocals for both albums, and early studio teasers hint at some of the most intense and focused songwriting Exodus has delivered in years. Fans can also expect exclusive deluxe box sets, colored vinyl editions, and behind-the-scenes documentaries released alongside the albums.
The band is currently on the “warm of Horror” world tour, giving fans a taste of the new era live. With new music, a revitalized lineup, and two major album releases on the way, Exodus has made it clear: the thrash veterans are not just back—they’re about to dominate 2025.
