Duff McKagan Confirms New Guns N’ Roses Album Set for 2025 Release
In what fans are calling a long-awaited dream come true, Duff McKagan has officially confirmed that Guns N’ Roses will release a brand-new studio album in 2025—their first full-length record featuring the classic lineup since 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident?. The announcement came during a recent interview ahead of the band’s upcoming world tour, setting the rock world abuzz with anticipation.
“This is something we’ve been working on behind the scenes for a while,” McKagan revealed. “We’re all in a really creative space again—me, Slash, and Axl—and we’re excited to give the fans something that captures our roots but pushes forward.”
The album, still untitled, is expected to feature a blend of vintage GNR grit with modern sonic depth. According to insiders, the band has recorded over a dozen tracks, with McKagan calling the material “the most honest, raw, and real stuff we’ve written in decades.”
This marks a historic moment not just for the band, but for the rock genre as a whole. Fans have waited over 30 years to hear the original core of Guns N’ Roses create new music together. Rumors have swirled since McKagan and Slash rejoined the band in 2016, but this is the first official confirmation.
Accompanying the album release will be exclusive vinyl editions, behind-the-scenes documentary footage, and a global release concert streamed live from Los Angeles.
“People have stuck with us for a long time,” McKagan added. “This record is for them.”
With their 2025 “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour about to kick off, and new music on the horizon, fans are getting exactly what they’ve been waiting for: a new chapter in the Guns N’
Roses legacy.
