Boz Scaggs, the legendary singer-songwriter behind classic hits like “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle,” is making a triumphant return to the spotlight in 2025. After stepping back from touring due to health concerns in 2024, Scaggs has announced a worldwide tour and a special remastered release that will thrill longtime fans and new listeners alike.
The 2025 World Tour will see Scaggs perform across the United States, Europe, and Asia, bringing his timeless blend of rock, soul, and blues back to the global stage. Kicking off in late summer, the tour promises to deliver electrifying performances of his greatest hits, as well as select tracks from his deep and diverse catalog. Special VIP packages and exclusive merchandise are expected to be available, making this tour one of the year’s must-see events.
Alongside his tour announcement, Boz Scaggs is celebrating the reissue of his self-titled 1969 debut album. Featuring standout tracks like “Loan Me a Dime” and “Waiting for a Train,” the reissue offers fans a rare chance to experience Scaggs’ early work in its purest form.
In a recent statement, Scaggs expressed his excitement: “After a time of rest and reflection, I’m energized and ready to get back to what I love most — playing music for people who love it too.”
