Tomasson’s honest admission about Blackburn January exits

In the January transfer window, Jon Dahl Tomasson maintains he cannot rule out Blackburn Rovers departures.

The team’s bad run of play continued with a 2-2 draw against Rotherham United, and the head coach was open about the necessity for new players this month. Rovers now have just one victory in their last eight Championship games, which is the lowest record in the league during that time.

In the summer, Rovers sold Thomas Kaminski to Luton Town, and Ash Phillips’ contract had a release clause activated by Tottenham Hotspur. This helped to alleviate the club’s cash flow problems by bringing in about £4.5 million.

Even though Rovers are still anticipated to be active during this month’s transfer window, those issues still exist. Of course, there have also been rumors that players are quitting.

Tomasson stated that the club decides whether to accept offers for players, although he was unable to completely rule out any exits.

It’s not ringing on my phone!” He made a joke. “Players can always choose to depart at any time. The club will have to make that decision, if they require the funds for it.

“We saw some players leave the building in the summer to help get money in the accounts.”

Because of their aggressive efforts to renew contracts in the last 12 months, Rovers would at least be the ones to decide if they were to cash in on any of their players.

There are still a few days until our next away game, which is naturally against Cambridge,” he stated. “Some players require this time to replenish their batteries, thus this is it.

It’s fantastic that we’ll get the chance to help them rid their bodies of their weariness. I see it, you see it, that some athletes require that.

“Training will be an option for us, which is also beneficial. It’s an excellent combination.
