This month, Blackburn is looking to bolster their offense, and Jutkiewicz might be a temporary solution. Sam Gallagher, a striker for Rovers, has only made six appearances this season owing to injury, but Suffolk Town is interested in him and has already had a bid rejected.

Rovers have their sights set on Jutkiewicz because Gallagher might leave Blackburn this window if the price is right.

Jutkiewicz, who scored eight goals in 20 appearances during his first loan stay in the first part of the 16–17 season, is well-liked at St Andrew’s and has been a devoted Blues supporter for more than seven years. Following the completion of a permanent transfer during the January 2017 transfer window, an incredible 303 appearances with 58 goals were made. Even though Jutkiewicz has made 66 goals for the Blues in his career and left a lasting legacy, it appears that his time is almost over after just three starts this season.

Jutkiewicz moved to Birmingham after playing for Middlesborough, Burnely, and numerous other English teams, although a January departure might be premature. The 34-year-old striker is still a potential starter off the bench for Blues, who are now seven points above the drop in 20th place in the Championship.

In close games, Jutkiewicz’s availability off the bench offers a new attacking option for teams facing relegation, when his famed aerial skills and physical presence could be useful.

Should Jutkiewicz stay at Blues for the balance of his contract, or should he go up north to Blackburn this window?
