Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham In Pursuit of Birmingham Sensation, Three Year Deal Offered.

Football Insider reports that Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham are actively pursuing Menzi Mazwi from Birmingham City. Mazwi, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder, is nearing the end of his contract this summer. Despite not yet making his first-team debut, he is highly regarded both within and outside the club.

Although Birmingham City has offered Mazwi a three-year professional contract, he has yet to make a decision on his future. His potential availability has attracted the attention of the three Premier League clubs, who are interested in securing his services for a compensation fee estimated to be around £300,000.

There is also interest from abroad, with Bundesliga clubs Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig expressing interest. A move outside of the UK could further reduce Mazwi’s cost.

Birmingham City’s relegation to the third tier of English football could potentially fast-track Mazwi’s involvement with the senior squad, but it also weakens the club’s bargaining position as they seek to retain the promising youngster.

Additionally, Football Insider revealed that former manager Mowbray will not return to the club, and current front-runner for the managerial position is Alex Neil, who has achieved promotion three times and has impressed in interviews.
