Birmingham City’s injured list is getting longer as two new players have been added: Dion Sanderson and Cody Drameh.

The captain of the Blues, Sanderson, has lost his reliable presence in the middle of the defense. The center back suffered an odd foot injury in the pregame warm-up for Friday’s game against Coventry City.

Marc Roberts has entered the starting lineup to play defense with Emanuel Aiwu. After three Championship substitute appearances, Roberts starts his first game of the season against Coventry.

Drameh, 21, injured his ankle during practice on Thursday. He was supposed to take Ethan Laird’s spot at right-back.At the CBS Arena, Juninho Bacuna is anticipated to start for the Blues at right back.
