‘Approval is total’ – Birmingham City player agrees exit, pressure on and confidence of deal

In an effort to acquire Jordan James from Birmingham City, Atalanta is pressing forward because they think the young player has room to grow with them and might eventually be sold for a high price.

Birmingham City has an option to extend the 19-year-old’s contract by a further year, and it is set to expire in June 2025.

They are therefore not under any great pressure to give in and take what Atalanta has to offer. James is undoubtedly a vital member of the team as he has participated in 26 games for Birmingham City this season, playing a range of midfield positions.

According to Italian writer Rudy Galetti, Atalanta is expected to make a new offer and is under pressure to sign James.

Galetti claims that “talks continue” and that James “wants the move.”

Atalanta local Prima Bergamo reports that the player’s “approval is total” and that there are no issues with it.

According to reports, Birmingham City has turned down three bids thus far, and the teams’ positions are “distant.”

Talks over Prima Bergamo state are ongoing, and patience is required.
