Jason Kelce is one of the most beloved athletes in NFL history, and a former third-round choice of the Falcons might be his replacement.

Instead of dating Taylor Swift, the world’s most famous woman, Travis Kelce’s brother quickly rose to the position of America’s love. He retired from professional football as one of the greatest centers in league history, even faster than he became a national treasure.

Additionally, according to Zach Berman of PHLY, the Eagles signed Matt Hennessy, a former Falcons third-round pick, to perhaps take his position.

Hennessy had a good chance of starting in 2023 alongside Jake Matthews and Drew Dalman, but a leg injury ruined his season. Matthew Bergeron, a rookie, started all 17 games in Hennessy’s place.

Hennessy, a Temple product selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, started all 17 of the games in 2021 but was only able to play in 11 in 2022.

Hennessy can play all three interior spots and will provide the Eagles a key swing inside lineman, even though it’s unlikely that he will replace Jason Kelce right away.
