After the international break, Aston Villa will host Wolves, their Midlands rivals, at Villa Park on Saturday to begin the Premier League run-in.
Unai Emery will be eager to see his team pick up a vital three points at this point in the season after they lost their last two league games before the break.
With nine games remaining for the Villans, who are currently three points ahead of Tottenham, the race for the top four is intensifying.
Because Emery’s Spurs still have a game to play, every point counts from now until May. The manager, in particular, will want to win Saturday night’s matchup against Wolves.

Sadly, despite moving to Villa, the four-time Europa League winner is still winless. Against Wolves, they drew 1-1 last season and lost 1-0, and they drew 1-1 at Molineux this season.
With the Premier League season’s final stretch drawing near, the pressure is on Emery to end his terrible curse against Villa’s opponents.

Emery might find it bothersome to witness the Old Gold in such excellent shape, since they have their own European push to contend with and are just as keen to win three points.
Luckily, the visitor’s ongoing battle with injuries in their squad may bring some luck to the Spaniard on Saturday, giving the Villans a slim advantage this time around.
