SHOCKING: Jack Grealish Return to Villa on the Cards

Jack Grealish was left out of Gareth Southgate’s squad because of his lack of playing time for Manchester City, so he had to witness England’s international match against Brazil from a distance. This week’s reports suggest that City manager Pep Guardiola, dissatisfied with the winger’s lack of progress at the team, may let Grealish go in the summer.

The 28-year-old’s potential suitors are unknown, but returning to Aston Villa would be the best option for a player the Birmingham club acquired for €117.5 million just over two years ago.

For a squad that might play in the Champions League the next year and provide Grealish with the kind of playing time he hasn’t had, the potential is quite appealing.

The winger, who was born in Birmingham, is amenable to the move.
In 2023, he stated to the Telegraph, “It’s a club that is so close to my heart and I definitely hope to go back there.”

That’s what I’ve always thought. Ashley Young has already done it, and I fully intend to follow suit.

Reasoning for the Grealish Villa move
There is good reason for the move, even though the financial component of the transaction will undoubtedly offer a significant obstacle (Grealish is reputedly paid about €350,000 (£300,000) each week at Man City).

SciSports, data analytics experts, rank Villa among the top five teams that would be best for the winger. This is also without considering that he is a member of the team.

According to the Netherlands-based company, the Midlands club’s foundation is their sole true shortcoming when it comes to making the most of Grealish. Unai Emery, the manager, would undoubtedly modify his setup to maximise the attacker’s potential. He would, after all, become their star player right away.

Grealish is willing to rejoin Villa, thus the Villans shouldn’t rule out this ideal transfer.
