Charlie Adam compares Philippe Clement to Aaron Rodgers and says the “real” Rangers manager is reaching new heights.

Charlie Adam believes Philippe Clement has elevated Rangers since taking over for Michael Beale, calling him a “real” Rangers manager.

If the Gers defeat Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday, they will move five points clear of Celtic at the top of the Premiership standings. That would be a 12-point swing under Clement, who assumed over with the Gers trailing their local rivals by seven points. However, the Govan club only suffered one league defeat throughout that time—to Celtic—and they have no intention of looking back.

Adam, though, is certain that with 12 games remaining, Clement won’t take anything for granted. “He’s brought a big personality, hasn’t he?” he said to PLZ. I assumed there was going to be a huge announcement when Celtic brought in Brendan. His track record as a manager and former coach at Celtic speaks for itself. It’s a bold statement every time.
