Rangers: The green light has finally been granted for Jose Cifuentes’ work permit difficulties.

After joining Cruzeiro on loan from Rangers, Jose Cifuentes has finally received the go-ahead to make his debut, according to the Daily Record.

The newspaper said on page 50 of its print edition on Friday, February 23, that the Ecuadorian international’s work permit issue had been rectified, allowing him to play fellow Brazilian team Pouso Allegre on Sunday, February 25.

After facing challenges during his first few months with the Gers at Ibrox, the 24-year-old midfielder has decided to go on loan to the South American team.

José Cifuentes probably won’t play for the Rangers ever again
Since he didn’t leave the LAFC after joining the Rangers last summer, it’s very likely that Cifuentes won’t play for the team again.

Just months before the midfielder’s contract with the MLS team was about to end, the Gers reportedly spent £1.2 million to obtain his services, and they pushed the envelope to sign him.
However, Philippe Clement never really succeeded in securing a regular spot in the team after joining at Ibrox in October.

Jose Cifuentes will make his Cruzeiro debut following his loan move to Rangers.

This resulted in his short-term relocation to Cruzeiro, where he will now try to return to his peak performance following the resolution of his work permit concerns.

Later on, the Light Blues will likely be hoping that he has a successful loan stint with the Brazilian team, which will guarantee his permanent departure from Ibrox.
